Who Can Apply

  • Artists performing original music only
  • Available to perform live at Imaginario on 21 March 2026
  • Active Instagram account
  • 18+. Finalists under 18 require a legal guardian at the live event

How to Apply

  1. Follow all partners on Instagram from your band account:
  2. Create ONE Instagram post featuring:
    • A live rehearsal performance of the entire song you want to record
    • Live audio only (no studio recordings)
  3. Make co-authors of the post:
  4. Caption requirements:
    • A short sentence explaining why you want to record live at Sunset Studios
    • Tag all partners
    • Hashtag: #FromStageToStudio

Submissions will be accepted up until Friday the 13th of February 2026

Only one entry per artist. Paid ads, bots, or engagement groups will result in disqualification.

Selection Process

Artists are ranked by an Engagement Score: Likes + Comments + Shares + Saves. Plus industry judges (40% social media 60% Judges) The Top 3 bands qualify for the live showcase. The 3 artists will be announced on the 2nd of March 2026.

Live Showcase Event 21 March 2026

  • Location: Imaginario
  • Each finalist performs a 25–35 minute live set
  • The submitted song must be included in the set

What to Expect from the Recording

This is a live studio session focused on capturing energy and performance rather than building a traditional studio production.

  • Bands play together using mainly the studio backline
  • Minimal setup and minimal overdubs
  • Bring only essential personal gear
  • Relaxed, performance-driven environment

You will receive all recorded stems plus a professional mix and master by Sunset Studios. The goal is a recording that sounds raw, honest, and alive.
